Dr Clare Ardern is a Physiotherapist and Senior Research Fellow currently working at the University of British Columbia, Canada. With expertise in sports medicine, rehabilitation and meta-research, her work focuses on (i) measuring the impact of health research on public policy, the economy and society, (ii) how to conduct high-quality meta-research (including systematic reviews, web meta-analyses and clinical practice guidelines) can assist clinicians in making high-quality decisions, and (iii) return to sport after injury (rates, determinants of success, improving clinical approaches). Dr Ardern is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.
